LoanForte, AnatoliaLive, the Sacramento Shade Tree Foundation, and SMUD have teamed up to bring you the Shade Tree Program, which offers free shade trees to homeowners. This beneficial program gives homeowners the chance to interact with their neighbors, learn about all the different types of trees available to them, and have wonderful trees planted in their backyard, all for free!

Check out the Community News page for updates, including upcoming tree project meetings and planting dates. If you want to get involved in the Shade Tree Program, sign up below and come to a tree project meeting. To sign up, just follow these easy steps:

1. Watch the video on planting and caring for your trees. Watch Video
2. Write down the reservation code at the end.
3. Sign up below to join the program.
4. Come to one of the monthly tree project meetings, which are held in the Anatolia Clubhouse. Attending one of these meetings is mandatory.
5. Join a planting date. Planting dates will be set according to community interest. Once enough people in a neighborhood have signed up, a planting date will be set.
6. Schedule a forester visit, where a forester will come to your house to get an outlay of your backyard, decide where to plant trees, and tell you what trees are suitable for you.
7. Participate in the community planting. On the planting date, we will deliver the trees and work together with the communtiy to complete the planting.
